Graham Beard
Graham grew up in Bournemouth and has been riding bikes for as long as he can remember and racing them since 1996 (he still has his raceplates and result sheets from his first year of racing the Matchams series - they are in the shop so if you were at those events just ask him and he can dig them out for you). He did most of a mechanical engineering degree at UWE in Bristol before realising that bikes were a much more fun way of making a living. He started working for Cyclexperience in the Brockenhurst hire centre as a vacation job back in the year 2000 before graduating to the Shop in Brockenhurst and going full time in the bike industry around 2004. He left Cyclexperience in 2005 to go and live and work in Lancaster for The Edge Cycleworks and had an ace couple of years riding in the lake district as well as trips to Scotland, Wales and Spain. Having Qualified as a Cyctech Level 2 mechanic in 2006 he left The Edge early in 2007 to do some global travel before returning home to Dorset later that year. As soon as he was back down south he approached Ross at Cyclexperience about opening a hire centre and retail store in the Purbecks and a few months later the Wareham shop was opened and he's been there ever since.
